Derry, New Hampshire - Mrs. Jeannette J. Vergato-Taylor, of Derry, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Concord, New Hampshire. She was 78.
Jeannette was born in Newton on December 29, 1931, a daughter of the late Dominic and Martha (DiBona) Vergato and was a graduate of Newton High School. She had lived in Newton, Waltham, and in Florida before moving to Derry, New Hampshire. She was a retired key punch operator who was a talented pianist and painter. Jeannette enjoyed traveling and loved animals, poetry, cross word puzzles, and singing hymns.
But, most of all, Jeannette had a deep and special bond with her daughter, Elizabeth.
She was the wife of the late Richard H. Taylor and the sister of the late Vivian Vergato.
Jeannette is survived by her devoted daughter, Elizabeth J. Taylor-Wiggins and her husband, David, of Tyngsboro; her sister, Delores Lawless of Newton; her niece and nephew, Lisa Coelho and Mark Hankins, both of Hudson and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jeannette’s life by gathering at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 27th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, before leaving in procession to the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 250 High Street, Waltham, where her funeral service will be held at 11a.m.
