Waltham – Mr. Jeffrery R. Comeau, of Waltham, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at his home. He was 58.

Jeff was born in Sanford, Maine on August 19, 1960, a son of Pauline B. (Parent) and the late Gerald P. Comeau. He was raised in Newton and was a graduate of Newton North High School. He moved to Waltham twenty years ago and had a long career working as a truck driver for Waste Management Company.

Growing up in Newton he learned the game of golf as a caddy at Woodland Golf Club and became a pretty talented golfer in later years. Jeff was a longtime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge No. 953 in Waltham.

In addition to his mother, Pauline, he leaves his siblings, Philip Comeau of Phoenix, Arizona, Stephen Comeau (Jen) of Stoughton, Martin Comeau (Wendy) of Natick, Monica Atteridge (Marc) of Richlands, North Carolina and Andrew Comeau of Foxborough; his nephews, Paul, James, Nick, Kyle and Ryan Comeau and his girlfriend, Beverly Goodwin, of Waltham.

He was also a brother of the late Mark Comeau.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jeff's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, November 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday afternoon when his funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.
