Joan E. Robinson

Waltham – Mrs. Joan E. (Chappell) Robinson, of Waltham, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 in Sunrise Assisted Living in Weston. She was 98. Born in Portland, Maine, Mrs. Robinson had lived in Prince Edward Island, Canada, until the age of 28 when she moved to Waltham. Mrs. Robinson was the wife of the late George A. Robinson and the daughter of the late George and Eliza (Malone) Chappell. She was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her friends, Andrea and Paul Allain of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. A visiting hour will be held on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham.
