John W. Aucoin

Waltham - Mr. John W. Aucoin, of Waltham, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. He was 72.

John was born in Boston on June 18, 1942, a son of the late Richard and Barbara (Howell) Aucoin. He was a banker with the Waltham Federal Savings Bank and the U.S. Trust Bank until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed all the Boston sports teams and was a member of the Waltham Elks.

He is survived by his children, Craig P. Aucoin and his wife, Bekah, of Framingham, Julie A. Rzepecki and her husband, Thomas, of Springville, New York and Christine G. "Christie" O'Hearn and her husband, Shawn, of Whitman; his grandchildren, Owen O'Hearn, William O'Hearn, Caitlyn Rzepecki and Erin Rzepecki; his siblings, Richard Aucoin and his wife, Greta, of South Carolina and Linda Lazaro and her husband, Bernie, of Hudson and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember John's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Saturday, July 26th, from 2 to 5 p.m.
