John J. Conti, Jr.

Boston - Mr. John J. Conti, Jr. of Boston, formerly of Waltham, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at his home. He was 47.

John was born in Waltham on November 5, 1963, a son of the late John J. and Ruth A. (Golden) Conti and had lived in Boston for the past twenty years. He worked as an accountant for many years. John was a 1981 graduate of Waltham High School and a 1992 graduate of Bentley College . He enjoyed gardening, traveling and will always be remembered for his engaging and happy personality.

John leaves five sisters, Janet M. Strazzullo and her husband, Carl, of Webster, Jean M. Conti of Waltham, Joanne Naughton and her husband, Bob, of Holliston, Marie E. Kuniholm and her husband, James, of Athol and Karen C. Chabon and her husband, David, of Chestnut Hill; and his nieces and nephews, Adam, John, Emily, Bobby, Jeff, Sarah, Matt, Andrew and Eric.

Family and friends will honor and remember John’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Friday April 15th, from 3 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
