Waltham Mr. John C. Crocker of Waltham died Wednesday, April 28, 2004 in Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. He was 94. <br><br>Born in Hearts Delight, Newfoundland, Canada, Mr. Crocker moved to Waltham when he was 17 years old. He attended carpentry training at the Franklin Institute in Boston and was worked as a carpenter at Harvard University in Cambridge for over thirty-five years. He was an active member of the Lakeview Congregational Church in Waltham. Mr. Crocker loved to travel and frequently spent his winters in Florida for the past several years. He played the organ, piano, and harmonica.<br><br>Mr. Crocker was the husband of the late Elta P. (Pugsley) Crocker, son of the late John C. and Elizabeth J. (Harnum) Crocker, and brother of the late Ethel Mahoney, Stanley, Hobart, Donald, Moses, Oswald, and Florence Crocker.<br><br>He is survived by his daughter, Myrtle A. Ryan and her husband Charles W., of Waltham; his grandchildren, Thomas M. Ryan and his wife Heidi, of Salem NH, Christopher C. Ryan of Waltham, and Matthew D. Ryan of Watertown; and his great-grandson, Brayden C. Ryan of Salem, NH who was the joy of his life.<br><br>Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Reverend Robert F. Hoaglander will officiate. Burial will be private.<br><br>Visiting hours are Friday 4 to 7 p.m.<br>
