John N. Henesy

Boston - Mr. John N. Henesy, of Boston, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. He was 82.

John was born August 20, 1933 in Waltham, a son of the late Charles F. and Mary G. (MacDonald) Henesy. Raised and educated in Waltham he was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School and Boston College. He lived most of his life in Boston.

During the Korean War, John was a member of the military police for the United States Army.

He worked as a ticket agent for Delta Airlines at Logan International Airport in Boston for over 30 years before retiring.

In addition to his parents John was predeceased by his only brother, Charles Henesy.

He leaves his cousins including, Elizabeth A. MacDonald, Norman J. MacDonald and his wife, Sandra, and Ellen M. MacDonald, all of Waltham and other extended relatives and friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember John's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, April 15th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
