Waltham - Mr. John P. Keilty, of Waltham, died Thursday, April 27, 2006 in his home. He was 57. Born in Brighton, a son of Carolyn M. (Foley) of Waltham and the late Thomas P. Keilty, he was a lifelong resident of Waltham. John worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for thirty-two years. During the Vietnam War, he served with the United States Army. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 1018 and the Joseph F. Hill American Legion Post No. 156, both of Waltham. He also enjoyed playing darts and pool. In additon to his mother, he leaves his daughters, Sheryl Walsh of Brighton and Heather Keilty of Waltham; two brothers, Thomas P. Keilty, Jr. of Natick and Francis E. Keilty of Lowell; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
