John P. 'Bomber' Landry

Venice, Florida – Mr. John P. 'Bomber' Landry, of Venice, Florida died Sunday, February 19, 2012. He was 49.

John was born in Waltham on January 9, 1963, a son of Patricia A. (Segien) Landry of Waltham and the late Paul J. Landry. He had worked at the Raytheon Company, Brookline Ice and Coal and, most recently, at Sunbelt Rentals in Florida.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his wife, Cassandra J. 'Sandie' (Ward-McPeek) Landry; his children, Victoria Landry, Paul Landry and Anthony Lucchese all of Venice, Florida; his grandmother, Phyllis Church of Venice, Florida; his sisters, Paula Mazzapica of Upton, Christine Landry, Linda Landry and Elizabeth Auger all of Waltham; his brother, Richard Landry of Framingham and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the son-in-law of Douglas and Doris McPeek of Venice, Florida and Ken and Judy Ward of Stoughton.

Family and friends will honor and remember Bomber's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, February 29th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Thursday morning when his funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
