John A. LeBlanc

Stow, MA

Stow - Mr. John LeBlanc, formerly of Waltham died Monday, September 23, 2024 in Emerson Hospital in Concord after a brief battle with multiple myeloma. He was 81. 

John was born February 20, 1943 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada a son of the late Alex and Anna (Robichaud) LeBlanc. Raised and educated in Moncton he immigrated to the United States in 1963. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. John married Ruth D. Fortini on August 22, 1982 in Saint Joseph’s Church in Waltham. Longtime residents of Waltham they moved to Stow in 2018. 

John loved his work as a machinist for Bergeron Corporation where he worked over 45 years, retiring in 2021. He was very supportive of his children and their endeavors and was ever so proud. He always had a project on hand and loved tinkering around his home.   

In addition to his wife of 42 years, Ruth he leaves his children, Daniel J. LeBlanc and his wife, Nicole of Troy, New York and Noelle M. LeBlanc of Stow; his grandson, Jackson LeBlanc; his sister, Diane Quagliozzi of Billerica; many nieces & nephews. John was predeceased by his siblings, Rev. Phillip LeBlanc, Paul and Edgar LeBlanc and Pauline Kirk.   

Funeral services and burial in Brookside Cemetery in Stow are private.
