John M. Marenghi

Mr. John 'Jake' M. Marenghi, of Waltham, died in his home on December 31, 2013. He was 93.

He is survived by his wife, Carol (Popp) Frost Marenghi; his children, Carolyn Cotter and Michael Marenghi; his stepchildren, Donald J. Frost, Jr. and his wife Linda, Lorraine Connolly and her husband Paul, Charles J. Frost, Linda Riley and her husband William; his grandchildren, Heidi O'Connor, Matthew and Andrew Marenghi, Sabrina Cotter, Donald III and Matthew Frost, Joseph Connolly, C.J. and Justin Frost and Kimberly Riley; his sister, Serena Sandulli and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Irene O'Connor and brother of the late Rita Lyons, Anne Giard and Helen Turowski.

Funeral Service to be held at Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St., Waltham on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at 4 p.m. Visitation prior to service from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to VNA Care Network, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923-3687 or Waltham Firefighters Relief Association, 175 Lexington St., Waltham, MA 02452. Burial will be private.
