John W. Mccarthy

Manchester, NH – Mr. John W. McCarthy of Manchester, NH formerly of Waltham died in New Hampshire on Tuesday, July 6, 2004. He was 83. Mr. McCarthy was born in Charlestown and worked in the produce industry at M.J. McCarthy & Sons. He was a World War Two veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Mr. McCarthy was the husband of the late Dorothy A. ( Cronin ) McCarthy, the father of the late John W. McCarthy Jr and Kevin R. McCarthy, the son of the late Michael and Mary (White) McCarthy, and the brother of the late Fr. Michael McCarthy, Mary McCarthy, and Helen Barry. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy M. Morakis of Manchester NH and Maureen A. McCarthy of Waltham; his brother, Edward McCarthy of Natick, his sisters, Theresa Supple of Rhode Island, Anna McCarthy, Agnes McCarthy, Margaret Driver all of Brookline and Alice Troiano of Lexington; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham.
