Waltham - Mr. John F. Rezendes, of Waltham, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. He was 20 years old.
John was born in Brighton on January 18, 1997, the son of John T. and Darlene M. (Kelly) Rezendes, and was a lifelong Waltham resident.
He was a 2015 graduate of Minuteman Technical High School and was currently working as an apprentice plumber with P.J. Dionne Co. of Wilmington. John was a real outdoorsman and spent time camping and fishing whenever the opportunity came.
In addition to his parents, John and Darlene, he is survived by his siblings, Timothy J., Stephanie A. and Kenneth J. Rezendes, all of Waltham; his grandmother, Geraldine Rezendes of Hyde Park and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was also the grandson of the late Robert Rezendes and John and Marie Kelly.
Family and friends will honor and remember John's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, December 8th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
