John L. Stark

Northborough – Mr. John L. Stark, of Northborough, formerly of Leicester and Shrewsbury, died on Monday, April 28, 2014 in UMass Medical Center, Worcester. He was 57.

John was born in Newton on December 31, 1956, a son of Dorothy (Tighe) Stark Howard and the late Beaumont Stark. After graduating from Natick High School he attended Northeastern University in Boston and had spent the last thirty-five years working at Adcole Corp. in Marlborough as a research developer. John was a gentle man who would lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved fishing and animals, especially his cats PeeWee and Bud.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Mary L. (Mills) Stark of Northborough; his mother, Dorothy (Tighe) Stark Howard and her husband, Len Howard, of Ormond, Florida; his siblings, Joseph C. Stark and his wife, Robin, of Sparta, New Jersey and James B. 'Beau' Stark and his wife, Leah, of Blackstone and many nieces and nephews.

He was also a brother of the late Jeffrey Stark.

Family and friends will honor and remember John's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Saturday May 3rd from 3 to 7 p.m.
