Newton – Mr. Jonathan Cutts, of Newton, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester. He was 71.
Jonathan was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 25, 1946, a son of the late Morgan and Katherine (Knox) Cutts. He was raised and educated in Providence and had lived in the Harvard Square neighborhood of Cambridge for the past 30 years. He loved helping others and frequently volunteered at nursing homes and organizations that help the less fortunate.
He is survived by his children, Heather Jarvis, Aaron Cutts and Wendy Dennison; his grandchildren, Demri Jarvis and Liana and Collin Dennison and his siblings, David Cutts and Holly Billings. He was the former husband of Linda Cutts of Watertown.
Funeral services are private.
