Waltham - Mr. Joseph R. Arsenault of Waltham died Monday, January 23, 2006 in his home. He was 78. Born in New Brunswick, Canada a son of the late Adelard and Zelima (Dionne) Arsenault, he worked as a machinist for twenty years for the FaBraze Compamy of Waltham. He was also the former owner of J.J.’s Sub Shop for five years as well as Stop n’ Food in Waltham for five years. He was a member of the French-American Victory Club of Waltham and enjoyed country music and golfing. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was the brother of the late Geraldine LeBlanc and Jeannine Arsenault. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Dorine (Arsenault); his children, Michelle Lapham and her husband Mike of Natick, Maurice Arsenault of Hudson, and Mark Arsenault and his wife Carol of Needham; three brothers, Alban Arsenault of New Brunswick, George Arsenault of Quebec, and Jean Paul Arsenault of Billerica; his grandchildren, Candice, Erica, Samantha, Rebecca, Alex, Cameron and Caroline, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care Inc., 41 Montvale Avenue, Stoneham, MA 02180.
