Waltham Mr. Joseph Bonafide of Waltham died Sunday, September 12, 2004 at his home. He was 89. Born in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late Salvatore and Antoinette (Perniciaro) Bonafide, he lived in Waltham for the past fifty years. Until his retirement, Mr. Bonafide worked as a technician for the Raytheon Company. During World War II he served as a medic with the U.S.Army Rangers. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Nellie V. (Terrasi) Bonafide; his daughter, Paula J. Lennerton and her husband Harold of Winchendon and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Amanda Lennerton. He was also the brother of the late Salvatore Bonafide, Jr. and Mary Bonafide. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, cor. of River and Newton Sts., Waltham at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Waltham. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
