Leominster – Mr. Joseph P. Collura, Jr., of Leominster, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in The Meadows of Leicester. He was 51.
Joe was born in Waltham on August 31, 1964, a son of the late Joseph P. and Justine (Mahoney) Collura. He was a graduate of Waltham Vocational High School.
A Leominster resident for more than twenty years he worked as a finish carpenter. He loved hiking, cooking, boxing, and his favorite team, The New England Patriots.
He leaves his siblings, Thomas Collura of Norwood, Gail Collura of Walpole, and Karen Healy and her husband, Kevin, of Waltham and nieces and nephews.
Joe was also a brother of the late Philip J. Collura.
Family and friends will honor and remember Joe's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, July 18th, from 6 to 8 p.m. His funeral service will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
