Joseph J. DePass

Waltham – Mr. Joseph J. DePass of Waltham died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in his home. He was 54. Mr. DePass was born in Waltham on May 13, 1960, a son of Eleanor T. (Hughes) DePass of Waltham and the late John W. DePass.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1978. He went on to the Wentworth Institute of Technology and was a talented finish carpenter.

In addition to his mother, Joseph leaves his son, Joseph DePass and his wife, Laura, of Holly Hill, Florida; his grandchildren Angelo and Emma; his siblings, David O. DePass and his wife, Christine, of Waltham, Paul J. DePass and his wife, Dagmar, of Auburn, California, Thomas H. DePass of Mountain View, California, Daniel W. DePass and his wife, Allesandra, of Randolph, Mark A. DePass and his wife, Heather, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jane E. DePass of Sandwich, Patricia A. Tolan and her husband, Robert, of Waltham and Anne Marie DePass of Waltham. Joseph also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Cori Connor and brother of the late Jack W. DePass and Mary E. Tibbetts.

Family and friends will honor and remember Joseph's life by gathering on Saturday, April 11, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), where his Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m.
