Joseph E. Farrell

Waltham - Mr. Joseph E. 'Jerry' Farrell, Jr., of Waltham, died Friday January 6, 2006 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 64. Born and raised in Waltham, a son of the late Joseph E. and Loretta (Dacey) Farrell, Sr., Jerry worked for ten years as a chef at the Larchwood Lodge Nursing Home in Waltham. He leaves his wife, Winnie L. Windsor; his children, Jennifer M. Shepard of Shrewsbury, Michele M. Farrell-Smalley of Worcester, and Adam L. Windsor of Waltham; two brothers, Kevin J. Farrell of Millis, and Richard F. Farrell of Waltham; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Anthony, Jaimyn, Taylynn, Barton Frost and Nicholas Frost-Jessell and one nephew, Kevin Farrell Jr. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Caritas Saint Elizabeth’s Cancer Care Research Fund, 736 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA 02135.
