Joseph F. Gallagher

Waltham - Mr. Joseph F. Gallagher, of Waltham, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Emerson Hospital in Concord. He was 61. Joe was born in Cambridge on May 30, 1948, a son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Whalen) Gallagher. He was a Waltham resident for many years and served with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Joe was the husband of the late Joan C. (Jensen) Gallagher and the brother of the late Robert Gallagher. He is survived by his children, Lisa J. Puccia and her husband, Albert, of Tewksbury, Robert J. Gallagher and his wife, Denise, of Bellingham, and Michael R. Gallagher and his wife, Heather, of Leominster and eight grandchildren. Family and friends will honor and remember Joe's life by gathering at 10:30 am on Friday, November 13, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham, where his Graveside Service will be held at 12 noon.
