Mr. Joseph V. Goulding of Waltham died Sunday, May 8, 2005 in the Epoch Nursing Center, Weston. He was 76. Born in Waltham, Mr. Goulding was raised and educated in Newton. He was a Waltham resident for over fifty years. Mr. Goulding worked in construction and was also a bartender at Michael Js in Waltham. He was a Korean War veteran who served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of V.F.W. Post No. 2152 in Waltham. Mr. Goulding was the husband of the late Jeanne M. (Hallett) Goulding; the son of the late Ralph and Olga (Erickson) Goulding; and the brother of the late James Goulding, Ruth Butcher, Charles Goulding, and Anne Zito. He is survived by his children, Philip J. Goulding and his wife, Michele, of Holliston, Charles J. Goulding, Joan E. Korner, John R. Goulding, and Jane M. Goulding all of Waltham; his brother, Philip Goulding of California; seven grandchildren including Heather Marie Goulding, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
