Waltham – Mr. Joseph C. LeBlanc, of Waltham, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was 64.
Joe was born on March 25, 1947 in Belle Côte, Nova Scotia, a son of the late Francis and Florence (Cormier) LeBlanc, and had lived in Waltham since he was 17. Until his retirement he worked as a machinist for the Parker Hannifin Company in Waltham and in Ayer.
He leaves his wife, Elaine P. (Murphy) LeBlanc; his children, Gerard LeBlanc and his wife, Kelly, of Littleton and Jamie LeBlanc and his wife, Christine, of Arlington; his step-children, Elizabeth O'Brien of Marlboro and Thomas O'Brien of Norwood; his sisters and brother, Sylvia Hache of Waltham, Amelia DeVeaux of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and John LeBlanc of Toronto, Ontario; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Joe's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, December 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
