Joseph F. Livingston

Mr. Joseph F. Livingston of Waltham died Sunday, June 8, 2008 in the Kindred Hospital in Boston. He was 73. Born in Cambridge, Mr. Livingston had lived in Waltham for forty years. He was a member of the Canadian American Club and was an avid sports fan. Mr. Livingston served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Livingston was the son of the late George and Margaret (MacEachern) Livingston and the brother of the late George and Robert Livingston. He was the devoted husband of Harriet (MacInnis) Livingston and the beloved father of Tanya F. Ahlman and her husband, John, of Holliston. Mr. Livingston is also survived by his brother, William B. Livingston of Somerville and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Friday at 10 am from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Service in the Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut Street, Newton, at 11 am. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451 or to the charity of one's choice.
