Joseph P. Malloy

Mr. Joseph P. Malloy, of Colebrook, New Hampshire, formerly of Watertown, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was 70.

Joe was born in Waltham on February 10, 1952 a son of the late Neil B. and Rita (McAvoy) Malloy. Raised in Watertown he was a graduate of Watertown High School. A longtime resident he moved to New Hampshire in 2006. Joe worked as a computer technician for Soft Design Computers Co. for over fifteen years.

He loved animals most especially the four legged companionship of the dogs who were always part of his life. He enjoyed gardening and tending to his yard and flowers. He was a talented wood worker and created countless numbers of walking sticks for family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Neil J. Malloy (late Janice) and John F. Malloy (late Maureen).

Joe leaves his siblings, Barbara L. Horton and her husband, Albert of Bellingham and Edward M. Malloy and his wife, Christine of Nashua, NH; also survived by nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Joseph's life by gathering for a calling hour in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Route 20), Waltham on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
