Mr. Joseph F. Nutile, of Waltham, died Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Beaumont Nursing & Skilled Rehabilitation Center where he recently entered for hospice care. He was 86.
Joseph was born on July 2, 1935 in Waltham a son of the late Peter and Mary (Delorey) Nutile. Raised and educated in Waltham he worked as a materials handler for Raytheon Corporation for over eighteen years. Upon retirement he enjoyed his part-time work at Costco in Waltham.
Joe had a knack and talent for creating the neatest birdhouses. He also loved the game and quiet that accompanied a good day of fishing. He was the best father to his three doting daughters.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert, Charles and Peter Nutile, Mary Scafidi and Josephine Mandile; his son-in-law, David Borr and his former first wife, Barbara Raguso.
He leaves his wife Sheryl (Hamilton) Nutile; his daughters, Bonnie M. Keefe (Edward) of Marlborough, Charlene L. Maron of Framingham and Laurie A. Borr (late David) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Erica Silva (Joshua) and Corrie Maron; his great-granddaughter, Charlie Jo; his twin sister Joanne Nutile of Groton and Paul Nutile of Ashby; also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Joseph's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, February 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by his funeral service at 7 p.m.
