Waltham Mr. Joseph A. Bud OMalley of Waltham died Wednesday, October 20, 2004 in his home. He was 86. <br><br>A lifelong Waltham resident, Mr. OMalley was a sales representative for Quirk Tire Company in Watertown until his retirement. Prior to that, he worked for P.J. OMalley Construction. After he retired, Mr. OMalley worked as a driver for the Belmont Council on Aging. An avid gardener, he was totally devoted to his family. Mr. OMalley was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army.<br><br>He was the husband of the late Dorothy A. (Brady) OMalley; the grandfather of the late Kathleen A. Como; the son of the late P. Joseph and Esther A. (Leonard) OMalley and brother of the late Agnes P. Clark. <br><br>Mr. OMalley is survived by his children, Dorothy A. OMalley and Peter J. OMalley, Marcia J. Como and her husband Robert J., and William J. OMalley and his wife Lisa F., all of Waltham; his grandchildren, Lauren E. Como, Peter J. OMalley, Kaitlin E. OMalley and Ann B. Hovsepian; his step-grandchildren, Leo M. Hovsepian, Robert B. Hovsepian, Lois C. Hovsepian, and Mary A. Farrell; and many nieces and nephews.<br><br>The Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
