Josephine A. Anderson

Mrs. Josephine A. (Terrasi) Anderson, of Waltham, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Maplewood at Mayflower Place Nursing and Rehabilitation in Yarmouth. She was 91.

Josephine was born February 16, 1927 in Waltham a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Passerello) Terrasi. She was married to the late Sten R. Anderson until his death on March 19, 2015.

In earlier years Josephine worked at Gilchrist Deparment Store and Waltham Supermarket. She was a talented seamstress, loved cooking for family and friends and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Sten she is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Terrasi and her sister, Eleanor DiPrima.

She leaves her daughter, Donna J. Brannelly (Robert) of Yarmouthport; her grandsons, Mark R. and Michael D. Brannelly, both of Framingham; her sisters, Mary Dalfino and Marguerite Terrasi, both of Waltham; nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Josephine's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Saturday, December 29th from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery, Newton.
