Josephine Higgins

West Roxbury- Mrs. Josephine (Cusolito) Higgins of West Roxbury formerly of Waltham died Thursday, January 15, 2004 in Norwood Hospital. She was 93. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Anne (LePage) Cusolito, Mrs. Higgins lived in Waltham before moving to West Roxbury in 1978. Mrs. Higgins was an inspector at the Waltham Watch Factory in Waltham for many years before her retirement in 1978. Mrs. Higgins was the wife of the late John David Teed and Jerome Higgins, and a sister of the late Barthomeau, Catherine and Angelina Cusolito. She is survived by her daughter, Roseanne M. McCawley of West Roxbury; one cousin, Catherine McKenzie of Waltham and two nephews, Frank S. Wayne of Florida and Robert Knowles of Texas. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
