Waltham - Mrs. Josephine J. (DiCicco) Keniston of Waltham died peacefully on Friday January 21, 2005 in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. She was 83. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Duva) DiCicco, Josephine was a lifetime resident. She worked as a waitress for many years at the Chateau Restaurant. She was a member of the PFC John M. Sullivan USMC VFW Post No. 10334 Auxiliary in Waltham. Josephine was very active with the seniors in Waltham and enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was the wife of the late Edwin G. Keniston, mother-in-law of the late Joe S. Taranto, Jr., and sister of the late William, Carmelo, Michael, Angelina and Frank DiCicco, Lucy Leone and Theresa Keniston. She is survived by her children, Edwin J. Keniston and his wife Vicki, Carol Ann Taranto, Karen M. Johnson and her husband David, all of Waltham and Linda J. Lord and her husband Wayne of Hopedale; one sister, Mary Gill of Waltham; 12 grandchildren, Joey, Joanne, Tina, Micheala, Tanya, Dalana, Troy, Kimberly, Kristin, Alicia, Melissa and Tyler; 4 Great-grandchildren, Tammy, Britney, Ashley and Christian and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
