Josephine Mary Nedza

Waltham – Mrs. Josephine Mary (Navitski) Nedza, of Waltham, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Meadow Green Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 88.
Her husband, John T. Nedza died March 1, 2006.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Lisa M. O’Connor and her husband, Christopher, of Somerville and Christine M. Parise of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Stella E. Petersen and her husband, Charles, of Maynard; a son-in-law, Mario A. Parise of Waltham and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Elaine M. Parise.
Mary was born July 17, 1919 in Chelsea, a daughter of the late Charles and Marcella (Cvilkas) Navitski and was a longtime Waltham resident.
Mary worked for the Raytheon Corporation for over 55 years, retiring in 1986. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Waltham.
The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
