Waltham – Mrs. Josephine M. (DeMarco) Perilli of Waltham died Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Newton Wellesley Hospital. She was 95. She was born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovannina (DiPietro) DeMarco, she was a graduate of Waltham High School.
Josephine spent the majority of her career as a book sorter at Little, Brown Publishing in Waltham, which is where she retired from after many years.
Mrs. Perilli was the wife of the late Charles Perilli, and sister of the late John DeMarco, Palma D'Angio, Julia Demeo, Salvatore DeMarco, Victoria Caruso, Benedetto DeMarco, Philomena Barravecchio, Rocco DeMarco, Virginia Scafidi, and Frank DeMarco.
She is survived by her children, Charles Perilli and his wife Carol of Waltham, and Paul Perilli and his wife Geraldine Erman of Brooklyn; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Josephine's life by gathering in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday November 9th, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
