Josephine M. Quinby

Waltham- Mrs. Josephine M. (Stukonis) Quinby of Waltham died Monday March 15, 2010 in her home She was 86. Josephine was born in Worcester, on November 15, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Soblenski) Stukonis, she worked as a laborer for I-tech Corporation, B.L. H. Company and Vectron Corporation which were all located in Waltham. She leaves her daughter, Jacqueline J. Keene of Waltham, one sister Ruth Quinn of Concord, New Hampshire, one brother, Joseph Stukonis of Marlborough and many nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Quinby, and sister of the late Francis Stukonis, Edward Stukonis, Charles Stukonis, Mary Burke, and Genevieve DeSantis. Family and friends will honor and remember Josephine's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce funeral Home, 245 main Street ( Rte.20), Waltham on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
