Joyce K. (Hingey) Bowen Vega

Mrs. Joyce K. (Hingey) Bowen Vega, of Waltham, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her home.  She was 67.

Joyce was born in Waltham on April 20, 1956, a daughter of the late Joseph and Devona (Simmons) Hingey and had been a lifelong resident.  She was a graduate of Waltham High School.

She enjoyed reading and crocheting for family and friends.

Joyce leaves her husband, Hector Vega; her children, Jerome Bowen of Waltham, Justin Bowen (Christina) of Temecula, California and Jada Currier of Belmont; her sister, Jill McDonald of New Hampshire and six grandchildren.

She was also the wife of the late Brian Bowen and a sister of the late Joseph Hingey.

Family and friends will honor and remember Joyce’s life by gathering for Graveside Services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17^th in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham.
