Joyce M. Keith

Waltham – Mrs. Joyce M. (Turner) Keith, of Waltham, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at her home. She was 83. Born in London, England, a daughter of the late Cyril and Mary (Webb) Turner, Joyce had lived in Waltham for more than 70 years. Until her retirement, she was a schoolteacher at Fitch Elementary School in Waltham for thirty years. Joyce was a warm, kind, gracious lady who had many interests including walking, gardening, reading, following Bruins hockey and especially spending time with her family and friends, both in Waltham and in Wellfleet. She leaves her husband of sixty years, Arthur C. Keith; two daughters, Loxi J. Keith and Lorna J. Keith, both of Waltham; one brother, Sydney J. Turner of Feura Bush, New York and her cousin, Peter Furlga of Washington, D.C. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Funeral services and burial will be held privately for close family and friends.
