Joyce M. Long

Waltham - Mrs. Joyce M. (Mealey) Long, of Waltham, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at her home. She was 79. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Hanly) Mealey, she moved to Waltham in 1958. Until her retirement, Joyce worked as an executive secretary for G.T.E. in Waltham. She leaves her husband, Patrick L. Long and several nieces and nephews. Joyce was the sister of the late Edward H. Mealey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours are Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
