Judith A. Haines

Waltham - Mrs. Judith A. (Gillis) Haines, of Waltham, died Monday, January 26, 2009 in her home. She was 63. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Neil and Jane (Mort) Gillis, Judith worked for many years at Deaconess Waltham Hospital as a dietary supervisor. Judith was the sister of the late Mary Jane Rice She leaves her brother, Neil D. Gillis and his wife, Patricia, of Hudson; two sisters, Catherine A. McMurtry and her husband, Robert, and Joan F. Gillis all of Waltham; and her and nephews and niece, John Rice of Merrimack, New Hampshire, N. Michael Gillis of Ireland, Thomas Petrulavage of Waltham, and Kimberly Lento and her husband, Robert, of California. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Judith's Funeral on Saturday at 11 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street Waltham at 12 noon. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
