Judy A. McCarthy

Waltham - Mrs. Judy A. (McSorley) McCarthy of Waltham died Friday August 12, 2005 at Leonard Morse Hospital, Natick. She was 66. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Lappen) McSorley, Mrs. McCarthy was a lifelong resident. Until her retirement, she worked for twenty-three-years as a crossing guard for The City of Waltham. She was a 1956 graduate of saint Patrick’s High School in Watertown. She was the sister of the late Robert McSorley. She is survived by her husband Francis L. 'Frank' McCarthy, two sons, Stephen L. McCarthy and his wife Joanne of Marlborough and John F. McCarthy and his wife Jennifer of Waltham; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
