Karl G. Kershner

Waltham – Mr. Karl G. Kershner, of Waltham, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his home. He was 51.

Karl was born in Waltham on August 16, 1966, a son of the late Homer W. and Joan M. (Healey) Kershner. He was a graduate of Waltham High School and a lifelong resident.

Karl had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of his garden at home. He also had a kind heart, this was evident by the role he took as caregiver to his parents during their illnesses.

He leaves his siblings, Robert W. Kershner and his wife, JoAnn, of Holbrook, Gale M. Schribman of Waltham, Susan E. Wilkins of Bedford, Thomas W. Kershner, and Diane M. Kershner, both of Waltham; his aunt and uncle, Ann and Allen Senarian of Waltham and seven nieces and nephews, and their families.

Family and friends will honor and remember Karl's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 19th in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
