Kathleen M. Hill

Mrs. Kathleen M. 'Kay' (O'Connor) Hill, of Weston, formerly of Waltham, Centerville and Sun City, Florida, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Wingate of Weston. She was 86.

Kay was born in Boston on December 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Campbell) O'Connor. She was raised in Waltham where she graduated from Waltham High School and later from Melrose-Wakefield Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as an R.N. at Waltham Hospital, Metropolitan State Hospital, the Shriver Center at the Fernald School and at Middlesex Community Hospital before her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Leo J. Hill; her children, Kathleen McInnis and her husband, Chuck, of Framingham, Michael Hill and his wife, Christine Develis-Hill, of Wayland, Thomas Hill and his wife, Marie, of Malden, Elizabeth Tobin and her husband, Sean, of Wayland, David Hill and his wife, Jeanne, of Medfield, Leo Hill III and his wife, Renee, of Acton and Douglas Hill and his partner, James Moritz, of New York City. Also survived by 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor and remember Kay's life by gathering to visit at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham on Saturday September 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
