Kathleen V. McCarthy

Waltham – Miss Kathleen V. McCarthy of Waltham died Friday, September 19, 2003 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 92. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Felix and Delia (Cunnane) McCarthy, she lived in Brighton before moving to Waltham in 1978. She was a 1933 graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston. Miss McCarthy was a lab technician for Pondville Hospital and had also worked in cancer research at Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Miss McCarthy is survived by her cousins, Norah Gannon, Timothy P. Cunnane, Anne P. Hughes, Peggy G. Levy, Margaret C. Hall, Thomas Gilmore, James Gilmore and John Gilmore and her dear friend, Dorothy M. McDonald. She was the sister of the late Anne E. McCarthy. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 9 am. Burial will be in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
