Kathryn A. Kelly

Ms. Kathryn A. Kelly of Alfred, Maine, formerly of Waltham died on May 2, 2022 at home in Alfred. She was 65. Ms. Kelly was born in Waltham on February 13, 1957, a daughter of the late Edward B. and Kathryn D. (Guthro) Kelly.

Kathryn was raised in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1975. A graduate of Emerson College, she was a school teacher in Melrose, then in Waltham, where she was a drama teacher at the Kennedy Junior High School for over thirty years until her retirement. She had a passion for putting on plays complete with the production of stages and props.

Kathryn was also involved with the Reagle Players.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas J. Kelly of Belmont; her sister, Mary Jean Holbrook (Steve) of West Virginia; three nieces and two nephews.

Kathryn was also the sister of the late Edward B. Kelly, Jr.

Family and friends will honor and remember Kathryn's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, September 2nd, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, Waltham.
