Keith Centola used the gifts and talents God blessed him with to the best of his abilities each and every day. His family says that one of the most wonderful attributes he possessed is that he gave the best hugs. He was always the first in line to offer help and asked nothing in return.
Keith died unexpectedly on Friday, February 15, 2019. He was 25.
Born on March 20, 1993 in Emerson Hospital in Concord he was a son of Lawrence P. and Susan (Petrino) Centola. As a graduate of Maynard High School with the class of 2011, Keith earned both his Bachelor's degree and Masters in Business Administration from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
He was applying his knowledge and degrees from school combined with his talents as an accounting coordinator at Game Show Network on Summer Street in Boston.
From even a young age, Keith was a numbers guy and excelled in school - particularly in mathematics and sciences. He was a master aficionado with the HBO series 'Game of Thrones' and knew quite easily the logistics of the show and the intricacies of how things played out. As a diehard movie buff, Keith was always ready to see any new release and prided himself in being able to find any movie stream or sporting event. With his competitive nature, Keith loved playing video games and watching all Boston sports teams and UFC matches with his brothers and friends.
In heaven, Keith joins his grandparents, Lawrence and Rose (Garafalo) Centola and Angelo "General" Petrino and his uncle and aunt, Anthony and Carol Petrino.
In addition to his parents, Larry and Susan Centola of Maynard, he leaves his brothers, Christopher J. Centola (Kayla Dolan) of Maynard, Lawrence P. 'Ricky' Centola (Kira Leeds) of Waltham and Daniel P. Centola of Maynard; his niece, Gabriella Centola; his grandmother, Tina L. (Ferolito) Petrino of Belmont; his aunts and uncles, Donna and David Murray of Maynard, Joann Petrino (Nelson Rios) of Belmont, Frances and Donald Piscatelli of Waltham, Elizabeth and John "Jack" Loynd of Jackson, New Hampshire, Rosemary Centola (Laura Barricelli) of Watertown and Stephen Centola of Sarasota, Florida; also survived by many cousins and friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Keith's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, February 22nd from 4 to 8 pm. His Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday in The Wilson Chapel of Andover Newton Theological College, 234 Herrick Street, Newton Centre at 12 Noon.
