Kenneth P. Barry

April 1, 1981 — April 29, 2019

A perfect day for Kenny Barry might be described by great fish stories from a good day on the water in his boat…to return home to the wonderful smile and embrace of his four year old daughter, Ava and a kiss from his much loved wife, Liana who has made his heart smile since even before August 14, 2010 when they married on the Cape. The day would also be spent barbecuing and sitting by the fire pit with family and friends with the sounds from the radio or television in the background with a great Red Sox or Patriots game. And of course…his much loved dog Maggie would always be by his side. There were many good days like this for Kenny.

Kenny died unexpectedly at home on Monday, April 29, 2019. He was 38.

Born on April 1, 1981 in Waltham he was a son of Karen L. (McHugh) Barry and the late David J. Barry. Raised in Waltham he attended Waltham Public Schools and graduated with the class of 2000 from Waltham High School.

Shortly after marriage to Liana they made Hudson their home before moving to Maynard in 2015.

Kenny defined hard-worker. As a foreman and laborer for JJ Hardwood Floors in Acton he was a loyal, well-liked and respected co-worker. And outside of work he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

In addition to his wife, Liana M. (Romero) Barry and daughter, Ava C. Barry he leaves his mother, Karen L. Barry of Waltham and siblings, David J. Barry (Bethany) of Franklin, Melissa Barry (Alexi Quinones) of Waltham, George Barry and Elizabeth Barry, both of Manchester, NH; his mother-in-law of Judith A. Nadeau of Attleborough; nieces & nephews Jameson Barry, Jasmine, Keira and Isabella Quinones; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
