Kenneth J. Conboy

West Newton – Mr. Kenneth J. Conboy, of West Newton, died on January 27, 2014 in Kindred Hospital, Brighton. He was 80.
Kenneth was born in Finlayson, Minnesota on March 10, 1933, a son of the late Frank and Lucille (Martin) Conboy. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He had worked as an electronic salesman at both RadioShack and Sterling Electronics in Woburn.
He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia M. (O'Brien) Conboy; his children, Stephen Conboy and his wife, Karen, of Austin, TX, Brian Conboy of Newtonville and Kelli Conboy of West Newton; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Nathanael and Ethan; his brother Michael Conboy and his wife, Jennifer, of Duluth, Minnesota; his brother-in-law Bob O'Brien of Waltham; his sister-in-law Kathy Santaniello and her husband, Frank, Nashua, New Hampshire.
He was the brother of the late Thomas Conboy and son-in-law of the late Frank and June O'Brien.
Family and friends will honor and remember Kenneth's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, January 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Friday morning when his funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 p.m.
