Waltham Mr. Kevin M. Breen of Waltham died Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was 65. Born in Malden, a son of the late Patrick and Bridie (Crowley) Breen, he lived in Medford before moving to Waltham in 1963. He worked as a manufacturing technician in the film division at the Polaroid Company in Waltham for thirty-six years before retiring in 1996. Kevin was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School and had served with the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion in Medford. He leaves his wife, Sheila M. (McNamara) Breen; one daughter, Kara A. Platt and her husband, Bryan of Waltham; two grandchildren, Michela and Olivia Platt and many nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Joseph and Ronald Breen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
