Lowell – Mr. Kevin C. McCarthy, of Lowell, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Lowell General Hospital. He was 65.
Born in Boston on June 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Charles and Christina (Cloonan) McCarthy. Raised in Waltham, he graduated with the Waltham High School Class of 1972 and had worked for years as a bricklayer and stone mason.
He leaves his children, Charles J. 'Chas' McCarthy (Alison) and Margaret D. "Dee" Nolan (Erik), both of Westwood; his grandchildren, Lucy Nolan, Jack, Miles, and William McCarthy; his brothers and sisters, John M. McCarthy of Billerica, Mary Pat Lowe of Stoughton, Dennis J. McCarthy (Angel) of Billerica, Ann Marie Feeney (Frank) of Hingham, Susan M. Brady (Paul) of Wayland, Jane E. Taranto (Stephen) of Waltham, Daniel G. McCarthy (Miriam) of Dracut, Joan C. Cappadona (Bob) of Waltham and Eileen McCarthy of Norwood and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Family and friends will honor and remember Kevin's life by gathering at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham on Tuesday, December 3rd where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
