Waltham – Mrs. Kristine M. (Santoro) Marcolina, of Waltham, died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 66.
Kristine was born in Boston on August 23, 1948, the daughter of the late Costa and Marie (Plundier) Santoro and had lived in Belmont before moving to Waltham as a child. She was a graduate of Waltham High School and the Chandler School for Women in Boston.
Until her retirement she worked as a sales associate at Filene's in Belmont.
Kristine leaves her husband of forty-four years, Alan L. Marcolina; her children, Ann Marie Palmer and her husband, Robert, of Dracut and Angela Marcolina and her husband, Christopher Lee, of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Palmer and Benjamin Lee and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Kristine's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, January 20th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
