Kwang-Yi Peter Hsiung

Boston – Mr. Kwang-Yi “Peter” Hsiung, of Boston, formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday, December 11, 2006 in The South Cove Manor Nursing Home in Boston’s South End. He was 86. His wife, Tao Tung (Chen) Hsiung died January 21, 1999. He is survived by two children, Rita Hai-Ning Hsiung Tsay and her husband Frank Tsay of Newton Centre and Paul Tien-Mou Hsiung and his wife Joan of Acton; four grandchildren, Michelle and Jessica Tsay, Casey and Avery Hsiung. He was born in Hunan, China son of the late Ming-Jiun Hsiung and Shiu-Jin (Peng) Hsiung and lived in Taiwan from 1948 to 1988 before moving here and settling in Waltham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Private burial services will be held in Newton Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
