Laura E. Wyman

Waltham- Mrs. Laura E. (Smith) Wyman of Waltham died Friday January 30, 2004 in Charlesgate Manor Nursing Home, Watertown. She was 93. Born in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia Canada, a daughter of the late Brenton and Mildred (Taggert) Smith, Mrs. Wyman was a resident of Waltham since 1927. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at MacLean Hospital in Belmont and at Varnum Park and Lee Nursing Homes in Waltham. She was also a clerk at J.C. Penney and Parke Snow’s in Waltham for many years. Mrs. Lyman was the wife of the late Gerald L. Wyman and was predeceased by five sisters and six brothers. Mrs. Wyman is survived by one son Kevin R. Wyman and his wife Joanne, one daughter, Linda M. Wyman, and two grandchildren, Rosalind and Mark Wyman, all of Waltham. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Avenune, Cambridge, MA 02140 or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
